Design sofas: the latest trends
So many new Egoitaliano designs at the 2022 Salone del Mobile in Milan
The 2022 Salone del Mobile in Milan opens today, to which Egoitaliano will bring the creative ideas and concepts that inspired its new collection: experimentation, adventures, flavours and experiences all intersect to create unique identities reflected in the designer furnishings on show.
The new collection is made up of overlapping and juxtaposed styles, materials and textures, with an emphasis on colour and with a combination of modern and retro lines, creating a mix of the old and the new.
This fresh selection includes design sofas and furnishing accessories with a pop feel and romantic motifs, retro and modern at the same time.
Design, personalisation and flexibility: the Pongo sofa
A new genre-defying design sofa, Pongo stands out from the other main innovations that will be presented at the 2022 Salone del Mobile. Made up of individual modular blocks, it has a young, pop and eclectic look. Its side-piping and contrasting elements mean it can be matched with a variety of coverings and colours.
Aesthetically, Pongo’s upper sections are a distinctive feature, with decorative button and piping that recall a classic dress-fastening. The sofa’s modularity makes it highly dynamic, with numerous possible combinations making it adaptable to any environment. Pongo perfectly expresses the colourful, bold essence of the brand with just the right combination of elegant design and vivid, eclectic tones.
The 1930s in an armchair: Mariù
Egoitaliano is taking a trip back in time with the launch of its new armchair, Mariù, inspired by the world-renowned American Club Chairs of the 1930s.
The new design armchair, with its soft upholstery and snug lines, recalls a period known for its round forms, here updated with innovative coverings such as fully elasticated fabric and contrast piping.
Mariù provides ample and comfortable lumbar support so you can relax snugly and luxuriously.
Ideal accessories for your design sofa
Armchairs, design sofas and much more. The new collection being presented at the Salone del Mobile in Milan will offer a glimpse of the new range of accessories conceived by Egoitaliano in partnership with Zerolab, a style consultancy studio specialising in design and research. Together with Zerolab, Egoitaliano is launching a versatile and irreverent collection through which the concept of layering is celebrated by means of colourful, functional details.
There are sofa covers; coloured cords for attaching the cover to the sofa, inspired by the luggage rack; a blanket for animals, with a carrying strap; genre-defying modular bags that mix and match materials; and wonderful fluorescent doilies that combine a contemporary feel with vintage elements.
Modern materials, vibrant tones, dynamic patterns and graphics that unleash energy and excitement. Our new range of accessories is perfect for design sofas – ironic, eccentric and unconventional: we look forward to seeing you 7-12 June at the Salone del Mobile in Milan, Hall 18, Stand A15/B16, Fiera Milano, Rho, Italy.
